There is a interesting his words in Kuroshituji. I guess that has been translated in English such as this….
“Because I am a demon and a butler”.
However, this words has two meanings when written in Japanese. “Because I’m a demon and a butler” and “Because I’m a just a butler”. When that words written in Japanese.
“Akumade shituji desukara”.
Shituji desukara = Because I’m a butler. The words of “Akumade” is important.
1. “Akumade” = just, only?
2. “Akuma”= Demon “de” = and
When the words written in Hiragana (or speaking), we don’t know clear which did he mean 1 or 2. So at beginning of story, we thought he is just an efficient butler. After that, when he showed his power as a demon, we noticed that he is a demon by this words.
“Akumade shituji desukara”. Yes, this was a kind of word game at Japanese language.
